Summary:
This last section of this book is one is one of the more intense and fast going parts. in this section many important things happen. Kyler apologizes for what happen at the dance, she won a volley ball match, she catches her father about to do something to Angeline and she tells on her father. Yes she tells on him, she's speaks out the truth, what everyone already knew and for that she got something. Kyler apologizing is itself an explanation, therefore there is no information needed for that, and her winning a game does the same. But what needs explaining is Anke finding her father with Ange and her telling on him.
When Ange and Anke needed to get some information about government law for government law the two girls plan to meet at Anke's fathers office since he works there. Ange arrives there first and Anke second comes second because she was chatting with Rona. When Anke arrives in a hall on the same floor that her fathers office is on and she hears a small wine. She goes into her fathers office and she finds him "with a small smile leaning toward the armchair, zipper on its way down Angeline, her skirt tweaked, swelling closing one eye, pleading softly, no, no." When Anke sees this she screams no and her father is shocked. when Anke goes home she tell her sister what happened and that she will tell on her father. Her sister tells her brother and her brother, tells their mother, and they are frightened, warning her not to. When the father comes home he says sorry that he couldn't give Anke a ride, trying to play off what had just happened. He looks at her with daring eyes, and she looks back with dare me eyes. she calls him a liar when he says he was in a meeting. Then she tell all her family what he was trying to do and with that he throws a chair at her. she wakes up at the hospital with her mother by her side. The father is gone and wont be back, because Anke's mother saw the light and kicked him out, he was sent to prison and they burned his chair.
Quotation:
"she was supposed to be outside our house of horrors and I let her in."
Reaction:
This quote shows Anke's thoughts after she finds her father and Ange in the office. the kind of ironic part of this is that she never wanted to bring her in their lives she didn't like hanging out with Ange, she always wanted to stay away. Ange was the one who let herself in she always swooned over the father and lit up when she saw him. It was not Anke that cause this it was Ange, though it wasn't her fault in all ways, she just had more part in it then Anke.
